The complete gear differential set includes a composite case and cover, precision-molded internal satellite gears made from special XRAY-developed composite material, all ensuring long lifespan and super-smooth efficient operation. A super-strong hollow steel shaft ensures maximum reliability and strength.

The advantage of the gear diff is that it is maintenance-free. When the diff is correctly built, there is no need for maintenance for a very long time, no need for frequent oil changes, and no leakage due to a superior sealing system.

Fully assembled gear differential is 2g heavier then the ball differential.

Note: Please note that due the nature of the gear differential and the forces and tensions involved, the gear differential with both aluminum and graphite axle are likely to be less resistant on the wear and/or breakage than the standard ball differentials. If you are not concerned about performance but the reliability and lifetime we suggest to use the standard ball differential.

For 2019 are Intellect's range of awesome LiPo batteries! The new LiHV HV4 will display a higher voltage and power than 2018 models.

Bench-marked against other leading brands, Intellect batteries provide higher performance for the same specification of battery.

2019 batteries are all Silicon-Graphene based LiHV. Silicon Graphene packs have improved cycle time when charged at 1C rates and can be charged at a higher C rating, with less risk of damage to the pack. LIHV technology has the ability to be charged to 4.35v per cell, but normal racing regulations allow up to 4.2v so LIHV are much safer.

To address market demands 2 options nominally are available Hi Power and Long RunTime.

The G3 Stock Spec motor has its torque and KV rating improved by 4% and 16% respectively, compared with the V10 G2 Stock Spec motor. The high torque & RPM definitely will make this unit a “secrete weapon” for the Stock class racing.

First-rate Linearity

The built-in high precision Hall sensor combined with the high precision and balanced rotor will guarantee remarkable linearity of the motor.

Super Lightweight

The G3 Modified & Stock motors only weigh 161g and 132g respectively; the weights are reduced by about 11% & 21%
when comparing with the V10 G2 motor. With the light weights, drivers can easily adjust the balance of their vehicles.

Asymmetric Bearings

By comparison (with the V10 G2 motor), for improving the load-carrying capacity, the size of the front bearing of the G3 motor is increased by 26% ; while for lower resistance, the size of the rear bearing is reduced by 6%. The asymmetric bearing design will make the motor running more stable and smooth.

Great Heat Dissipation

The special shell design which makes the stator core (/laminations) expose to the air will maximize cooling, the big holes(*) on the front & rear end plates will guarantee outstanding heat dissipation of the motor. (*Note: the 5.5T~8.5T motors are mainly adopted by off-road vehicles, so the factory default end plates for those motors are the ones with small holes.)

Stepless Adjustable Mechanical Timing

The mechanical timing can be adjusted finely and smoothly; the skid-proof lines
at the rear end of the motor will guarantee stability of the timing after adjustment

Re-buildable Structure

The detachable structure design for regular cleaning & maintenance will effectively prolong the service life of the motor and retain its efficiency.

Two Different End Plates

The end plates with big holes adopted by the 3.5T~5.0T & 10.5T~21.5T motors will guarantee excellent heat dissipation of the motor for on-road applications. The end plates with small holes used by the 5.5T~8.5T motors will effectively prevent sand or dirt from getting inside and damaging the motor for off-road applications. Users can purchase and mount the end plates with big or small holes as per actual needs.

High-quality Components

The use of high-performance stator core (/laminations), heat(200?)-resistant pure copper wire, heat(200?)-resistant

The first buggy was released in Europe in 2014. To continue to improve on the design, SOAR released the 2016 998 TD1 buggy with the focus on improved handling and tuning. Now after 4 years of designing and manufacturing of the 998 buggy line, SOAR have released the new 2017 998 TD1 version with an improved front end geometry and new stronger and lighter parts for even more performance and durability.

The Innovative Direct Ball Steering (DBS) system found on the 2017 TD1 gives you more handling options that any other pivot ball steering system out there. With 3 different positions available for your upper front link, you can adjust your roll center to meet your handling demands. Use the innermost position for aggressive steering, use the center for milder steering, and use the outermost hole for the smoothest steering possible.

Shocks are one of the most important items for a great handling car. With a class leading 16.7mm design they are the largest race shock available. The rebound and damping comes with convex pistons as standard. The spring cups use a locking system to prevent them from being dislodged during a race.

The suspension arms are extremely thick and strong. They are offered in a hard and soft version. The soft is for racing in colder temperatures to resist the arms being too brittle. Hard arms for the warmer temperatures to resist being to flexible. You can pick the arms for the proper time of year to keep the handling consistent and dependable.

In development, we combined 20 years of aerodynamics experience with the input of our world-class team of drivers. Each Pro-TC kit includes two wings with different levels of downforce – high downforce and standard downforce – and 4 endplates.

The Pro-TC Wing Kit fits all 190mm PROTOform bodies and meets all IFMAR/EFRA/BRCA/ROAR body standards. In order to keep your centre of gravity low and to save weight from the extra thick lexan, we recommend leaving your wing unpainted.

Protoform PL6289-00 Body support Foam kit for RC Bodies.

This set of PROTOform Body Support Foam is used to eliminate the gap between your car’s foam bumper and the inside of your race body.

Keeping the front of your race body supported is extremely important for both increasing durability and keeping the aerodynamic integrity of the body intact. By using the Body Support Foam, you can eliminate the unwanted “play” that allows the body to flex downward upon impact, leading to cracked front fenders. It will also keep the nose supported under high speed aero loads.

Each set comes with 4 “blocks” and 4 “strips” with super-sticky adhesive backs. The blocks are 9mm thick and are a quick solution to pad bodies in extremely forward mounting positions, as seen in 1/10 Touring Car, and also works great with bodies that have a long front overhang. The 2mm thick strips can be used to fine tune this gap in smaller increments and can be cut and stacked on one another. Racers can choose to add the foam directly into the inside of the body if experimenting with different body styles or mounting positions, or to the chassis bumper if using the same body & positioning repeatedly.

D9 PRO LIGHTWEIGHT BODYSHELL 190MM (CLEAR)

D9 is PROTOform’s new aero option for 190mm electric touring car racing. After much success with the Type-S, our world-class team of drivers requested a less-aggressive body handling feel in specific conditions where traction roll was being combated, or in super low grip when utmost rear traction was needed.

Developed through extensive testing, the D9 features smooth, easy-to-drive handling characteristics, helping you achieve maximum consistency in your lap times over a 5-minute run.

With PRO-Lite bodies now the standard for indoor carpet racing, the overall stiffness of the body was taken into consideration. Added ridges along the front fenders, door panels, a-pillars and trunk bed provide rigidity even in thinner materials.

The critical tuning aid of body positioning is once again made easier with our Mounting Marks inside the front wheel arches. Positions for 0, +2mm, +4mm and +6mm are scribed in for your convenience. Included with every D9 are the all-new rear wing mounts with top “button” and bottom “nut”.

The D9 is Global Body Spec compliant and fully EFRA (#4062) & ROAR approved. Made in the USA from our high-quality, super-durable polycarbonate, it is available in both lightweight and PRO-lite weight versions. Included are a PROTOform decal sheet, window masks, overspray film and wing mounting hardware.

Body Posts.

With the all-new unique BPA (Body Position Adjustment) system, the front body posts have an eccentric design that allows them to be positioned two different ways. The redesigned rear body posts feature graphite inserts to adjust their mounting positions on the rear shock tower.

Beefy 6mm thick body posts are made from special composite material that provides maximum strength but sufficient flex to reduce body post breakage in hard crashes or if the car flips over. The body supports are rounded to have a better fit and provide better support to the car body.

For ultimate tuning and adjustment, XRAY offers optional height adjustable body posts which allow independent front & rear body height adjustment by +1mm or +2mm.

With the all-new BPA (Body Position Adjustment) system, the entire bumper area was redesigned to feature all-new upper & lower composite bumpers. An all-new foam bumper was redesigned to work with the new adjustable eccentric body posts as well as with the standard centric body posts.

The newly-redesigned lower bumper has an updated shape with edges that prevent the bumper from touching the surface when the car is rolling.
