It is another way of stating the capacity.

It is calculated by multiplying the voltage by the Ah figure.

Ie: A 2S 6000mAh Lipo is: 7.4 x 6? = 44.4Wh

The WH figure does not vary with the C rating, and so is no indication in any way of the power delivery of it.

Example:? 2S Lipo s with same capacity but 25 C and ?100C ratings will have the same WH figure

The WH figure is very important when transporting Lipo by aircraft, so the carrier knows the energy in each consignment, which cannot exceed a certain figure.
